Our Juniors & Youth section is dedicated to young players aged 6 to 16 with additional needs.
For our adult players, we provide an exciting and inclusive experience through small-sided football.
On Saturday Mornings, we host dedicated training sessions for juniors, youths and adults.
Welcome to Blaby & District Spartans, the charity run pan-disability football club for children aged 5-16 years and adults.
Based in South Leicester, we hold our training sessions at Countesthorpe Academy. We welcome players from the surrounding areas and pride ourselves on being an inclusive football club, embracing individuals with various disabilities.
We are always happy to recruit new players and coaches who share our passion for football and our commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.
Our club is committed to making football accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Our coaches are fully qualified and have the necessary certifications to ensure your safety and well-being.
They are trained in first aid and have undergone various safeguarding checks, including a DBS check, to provide you with a secure and enjoyable experience.
Whether you have Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Social Anxiety, Severe Asthma, Autism, Epilepsy, or a Hearing Impairment, you are welcome here.
Blaby & District Spartans was established in 2020 with a deep-rooted passion for creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in sports.
We've amassed over 15 years of experience, initially as the disability section of a local girls' football club before starting our own standalone pan-disability club that champions inclusion.
2024 saw us become a registered charity to aid us in growing our club, whilst we continue to support players in enjoying, participating and flourishing in football, within a fun, friendly and safe environment.
As a proud affiliate of the Leicestershire FA, our mixed-gender Youth & Adult teams compete in the East Midlands Pan-Disability League and the Leicestershire Adult Inclusive League.
